The other night while we were decorating the Christmas tree, Mary asked me which was my favorite ornament and I didn’t know at the time. I don’t know if it’s just me or guys in general, but I never gave it much thought. It’s been a few days now and the tree is right next to my chair, so I’ve had ample time to decide on a favorite and I think this little fellow is it.

I can always tell when some teacher assigns “To Kill A Mockingbird” to their class because the blog gets a lot of traffic from kids searching for Boo Radley’s House. The people who used to live in the house moved up the road, posted a No Trespassing sign on the tree in front and  turned the house over to nature. Apparently they value their privacy because they’ve posted a No Trespassing sign on the front door of their new house and added this homemade one, complete with bullet holes, to their field.
