Another window sill plant, Wandering Jew. It pretty much had run its course and got thrown out a short while later.

Another early morning kitchen shot. They’ve been sitting on the window sill for a few days now.

Here’s Spencer, the boy from yesterday’s post, at the original turtle safari a couple of years ago. Notice the frog boots. This kid’s really into amphibians.

Spencer collects amphibians, mostly turtles. He caught his first a few years ago in our pond. His mother brought him back recently for another safari. No luck on this day, though he did find an old shell.

We had a late garden this year. I saw these on the kitchen counter the other morning, moved them into the sun, sprinkled some water on them, took the shot and made some coffee.
